Mizzou Day of Service – April 30

day of service lo res

We will be participating in the First Annual Mizzou Day of Service on Saturday, April 30 from 9 AM – Noon. We will be serving at BELL Garden in Bellevue. More information and event sign up is available here: www.mizzou.com/MDOSNashville. Please plan to join us for this great new Mizzou tradition.

More information about Mizzou Day of Service:

This year the Mizzou Alumni Association is launching a new program inspired by our students. Since 1991 the Mizzou Alternative Breaks (MAB) program has sent groups of 12 students on trips over weekend, Thanksgiving, spring, and winter breaks to volunteer at various places in need.

Our Mizzou students have demonstrated their commitment to service and now MAA is following their lead. All Mizzou alumni together, making a difference at one time, can have a substantial impact on both the individuals involved in this shared experience and on the greater community.

Mizzou Summer Social & Birthday Celebration

This year, Mizzou celebrated its 175th birthday! To celebrate the occasion, we’re hosting a summer social and birthday celebration on June 12 at Jonathan’s in Green Hills!

The event will include:

  • Birthday cake
  • Complimentary appetizers (provided by the chapter)
  • Cash bar with drink specials until 7 p.m. (2-for-1 beers, house wine & liquor)

Please RSVP by Friday, June 6. You can RSVP on Facebook or via email to musiccitytigers@gmail.com so we can let the restaurant know how many to expect.

This will be a great event to celebrate Mizzou, meet fellow alumni and welcome new graduates who are moving to the city. We hope to see you there!
